Learner Artwork

This year’s curriculum theme was China. Research on the Internet provided images from Chinese village life. The learners used the images they liked to form the basis of individual paintings. The paintings were sketched onto canvas board and painted with acrylic paints. Details were added with oil pastels.

India artwork

Learner stories

The Entry 3 learners are working towards the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness. As part of that they have completed the challenge of writing an illustrated story for young children. The Entry 3 students worked very hard to write and illustrate their stories. They also recorded their stories onto CD. Some of the stories were read to the children during the children's Christmas party and when they went to visit the school before the party.

RNIB College calendar

For this years calendars we made mosaics using a variety of materials, including card, glass and clay. The work is tactile and can be viewed on display in the College.
