Richard Martin - RNIB College Committee President

Role on Committee

I run Student Committee meetings and oversee the work of the Committee. I listen to students' views and ideas. I also attend meetings with members of the Loughborough Students Union Committee.

I am in my 1st year and study Independent Living Skills, Music & Drama, IT, Retail and CoPE

About me

My likes are football, music, food, motor sports. I have many more but could be here forever listing them. My dislikes aren’t many but my biggest dislike is when people are nasty to one another

Charlotte Finelli - Community Action Rep

Role on Committee

My role is Community Action Rep. I try to encourage people to take part in voluntary activities in the community and attend Action council meetings at the Students' Union.

I study Independent Living Skills at the RNIB college.

About me

My name is Charlotte Finelli. I am the action representative on the student committee. I am studying Individual Learning Programme. I like cooking and ironing and crafts and I like to go for a walk at night. I also like swimming and my interests are listening to my music and I like going on the computer and I go shopping with my mum at weekends.

Edward Hickey - Activity Secretary

Role on Committee

I am the Committee's new Activity Secretary. I help to organise activities for RNIB students and listen to their ideas for new activities that they would like to see on the activity programme.

What I study at the College

I am studying a BTEC in Fitness and Exercise plus IT at RNIB College

About me

My likes are sports and outdoor activities. My dislikes are sitting around being bored.

To raise money for local charity projects by holding different fundraising events

What I study at College

I am currently studying a whole bunch of things for example: braille, mobility, jaws and a wide selection of other subjects.

About me

No surprise but my favourite colour is purple, the best colour in the world! My hobbies are playing electric and acoustic guitar, keyboard and I am attempting but failing miserably at the Didgeridoo!

I also love listening to my music which varies from pop to rock to 80's to 60's.

There is one other hobbies I have and that is hanging out with my mates and having a laugh!
