RNIB College Loughborough ensuring better customer service for all!

RNIB College delivered a fully booked Understanding Customers with Disabilities Workshop in January. This was aimed at staff working in customer facing environments who wanted to provide a better service for customers with disabilities. The day aimed to give attendees a better understanding of customers who have sight loss, learning disabilities and Autism. Attendees had the opportunity to reflect on barriers some customers may face and share practical ways to improve their customer's experience. We had an excellent range of attendees from private sector organisations such as Leicester City Football Club, Waitrose, Lloyds Bank and Loughborough Building Society as well voluntary sector organisations such as Age UK, English Federation of Disability Sport and Shuttleworth Clarke Foundation along with local colleges and local authority staff.
