Mary, 53 and fully blind, came to The College with the clear work focus of gaining paid employment as a Telephonist.

After developing her customer service and IT skills, Mary has now successfully gained her desired position as a Telephonist with Charnwood Borough Council.

Dennis

Dennis, 46 and partially sighted, developed computing skills at The RNIB College following voluntary redundancy from HSBC.

A work placement and Community Volunteer post with Leicestershire Constabulary led to a permanent position as a HR Clerk.

Joanna

Joanna, 21 and partially sighted came to the College to study Business Administration and was determined to gain an administrative position when her course finished.

Joanna was successful and now is employed by Bassetlaw Hospital as a Clerical Bank Receptionist.
