The Big Brew coffee morning

On Tuesday 3rd March students at RNIB College Loughborough held a Big Brew coffee morning, to raise money for Traidcraft. This is a national initiative to promote Fairtrade Fortnight. Staff and students from The College Art Centre developed, promoted and led the event; including making beautiful felt brooches. There was an exciting, vibrant atmosphere as everyone got their homemade cake and hot drink, then chose their individual brooches.

One staff member said; "It was great! I thought the students did really well. They prepared all the brooches, which were all individual, so there was lots of choice. The students worked really hard to made all the delicious cakes and the atmosphere was a great."

Altogether they raised over £100, for Traidcraft.
